"This was quite frankly the worst hotel stay we have had. Not because the room was poor, but because we never saw the owner. We were given a code and let ouselves in. We heard the odd sound which indicated we were not alone - quite spooky really. The owner responded to our call but merely to give instructions - nothing more. "Excellent séjour dans le beau gîte de Anne et Alfred, anciennes écuries rénovées, avec préservation de tout le charme et le cachet du lieu d'origine ! Idéal pour une soirée conviviale au coin du feu et un bon dodo à l'étage ! Et super accueil de Anne, qui se fera une joie de vous partager l'histoire du lieu Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter des 14 hectares servant à la protection des animaux, nous espérons revenir une prochaine fois pour ça! "A beautiful family run small château set in park like gardens. We had a large bedroom overlooking the gardens. Throughout the château was beautifully furnished and the service was attentive and friendly. Close to Rennes and also an ideal location for day excursions to Le Mont Saint Michel or Angers and many other noteworthy places. "

"Very friendly welcome with enough English to get by. Comfortable, clean room with kettle, fridge, safe, hair dryer and nice shower room. Hotel is in the middle of a pretty village with mostly local stone built properties and there is a good creperie across the square. Parking outside in the square."

"Warm welcome from proprietors and their sweet dog. Room was spacious and well-maintained. Access to a full kitchen to make your own meals. Good breakfast that included home-made OJ, yogurt and pound cake with a selection of breads and jams. Great suggestion for local hiking routes and attractions. Would definitely recommend."

"The property is without doubt the best we have seen. The children and grandchildren gave the pool / hot tub / sauna area a 12 out of 10 !!! The bedrooms were superb and everything was provided. The only negative was a great deal of bird muck immediately outside the front door - they perch on the gutter above. A simple canopy would solve the issue."
